The Jersey Tai-Chi Foundation was established in Jersey, Channel Islands in 1985 by Raymond Reid who is both founder and principal, following years of practicing Shotokai Karate under Sensei Harada & Shoto Ryu Martial Arts under Sensei Viv Nash.. He is assisted in the running of the club by Instructors - Steve Renouf, Grant Osborne-Smith & Jo Lea
